Scalian Group’s Quality and Environment Correspondents

In June 2019, Scalian Group began setting up a network of Quality and Environment Correspondents (QECs).

They act as the local liaison on the French and Belgian sites with the central Quality Department, and their role is to apply and promote the Global Management System. They actively ensure the Global Management System is applied and routinely raise awareness on the sites in order to harmonise best practices locally.

Example of an initiative communicated by local relays: the Enviro Challenge!

To mark European Sustainable Development Week, Scalian launched its internal Enviro Challenge: for three weeks, employees shared their daily eco-actions in photos. At the same time, quizzes and information on sustainable development were posted on our social network Yammer. The Quality and Environment Correspondents distributed information to employees at all Scalian sites. This challenge was an opportunity to share best practices between employees, along with nearly 60 photos.
