Scalian consolidates its consulting business and presence in the public sector with the acquisition of Noveane, a specialist in digital and organisational transformation.
Scalian and Noveane announce that they have signed an agreement that will see Noveane join Scalian Group in order to become a market leader in the field of digital and organisational transformation projects by combining their technological and business expertise.
This acquisition is in line with Scalian’s 2024 strategic plan, which aims for the Group to reach a critical mass of €500M in revenue through its pan-European activities in management consulting, transformation and digital systems. Supported by a solid shareholder base, Scalian has made three major acquisitions since 2019 – in Germany (Tagueri) and Spain (Indizen and Agensys) – and the company continues to pursue an active policy of integrating strategic partners that share its values.
Noveane, expertise across the whole transformation chain
With more than 100 employees and forecast revenue of €15M in 2022, Noveane was founded in 2001 (under the name ISPA Consulting) and is based in Paris. Today, it is acknowledged as a specialist consultancy firm that masters every stage in the transformation process linked to new technologies and new forms of organisation (strategy, project management, coordination, implementation of solutions with relevant specialised tools), essentially for national and local public authorities, as well as large groups in the health and banking & insurance sectors.
Its business activities are split into two complementary areas:
Scalian, ‘Humans and Technology to scale up sustainable performance’
Over the last 30 years, Scalian has developed a high-added-value service offer combining technological expertise and in-depth knowledge of the most sophisticated business processes. This has been achieved thanks to the company’s culture and DNA, built on innovation and our core philosophy of placing people at the heart of transformations. This has enabled us to support the successful development of companies in every sector (even the most complex), by meeting their societal, environmental and technological requirements.
With revenues approaching €300M and nearly 3,000 consultants (65% of whom are based in France and 35% in Europe and North America), Scalian helps major industrial companies and service-sector businesses define and quickly implement their projects through our three core business lines:
Synergies that create value by controlling key aspects of transformation
By joining forces, Scalian and Noveane will leverage several strategic advantages, both in terms of their complementary business specialities and their business-sector coverage.
While reinforcing Scalian’s Strategy & Transformation Management Consulting (bolstering its ability to provide a service offer covering every stage of a digital and organisational transformation), Noveane will also bring additional expertise in the field of project performance (from the creation of a Control Room and the integration of Project Portfolio Management tools through to the implementation of a PMO service centre).
By becoming part of Scalian Group, Noveane will benefit from the Group’s solid international presence, as well as advanced expertise in several areas of business and technology, in sectors that complement its historical market. These key factors will contribute to its development, while reinforcing the company’s attractiveness from a client, partner and employee viewpoint.
« This alliance with a fast-growing European group with real investment capacity will enable Noveane to unleash its growth by increasing its resources and markets, consolidate Noveane’s strategic vision around the DTO (Digital Transformation Office) by accelerating the scope of action towards the project management and technological expertise, and lastly, increase the number of opportunities for career paths and strengthen its attractiveness », says Thomas Chauchard, CEO of Noveane.
« The Noveane-Scalian project represents a strategic operation for our clients and our teams. Our 2024 strategic plan also has ambitious goals in terms of creating added value through the content and services that we provide, by combining our business and organisational approaches with our acknowledged expertise in digital services. By accelerating the development of our Strategy & Transformation consulting division with a partner such as Noveane, we will be able to develop practical and effective synergies. I have great confidence in Thomas and his management team. Together, we have already outlined the initial scope of an exciting joint project. With its client portfolio, in-house consultants, business lines and organisation, the integration of Noveane represents a valuable addition that will continue to grow within the Scalian family. A warm welcome to the Noveane team! », adds Yvan Chabanne, CEO of Scalian.
