From 4 to 6 November, Scalian took part in the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 2025, the leading global event for all stakeholders in the civil nuclear sector. This edition was marked by strong team engagement, high-level discussions, and structuring advances for the future of the industry. More than ever, Scalian reaffirms its role as a committed player serving performance, safety, and transformation across the nuclear value chain.
Key meetings with French and international nuclear stakeholders
Throughout the exhibition, our teams had the opportunity to engage with major contractors, industrial leaders and institutional representatives from the sector.
Numerous meetings were held with delegations from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic, reflecting the growing interest of international partners in Scalian’s expertise and positioning.
These discussions addressed major topics such as industrial capacity reinforcement, safety management, plant digitalisation, systems engineering, and HR challenges linked to the increasing scale of nuclear projects in France and across Europe.

A groundbreaking cooperation to accelerate maritime decarbonisation
One of the highlights of this edition was the signing of a cooperation statement between the nuclear and maritime sectors, led by Bureau Veritas and bringing together several key players: Scalian, CMA CGM, Onet, and other committed partners.
Christophe Reybert, COO France at Scalian, formalised the Group’s contribution to this strategic initiative.
Its objective: to explore the conditions for integrating civil nuclear energy as a low-carbon, safe, and competitive energy source for maritime applications, in compliance with international standards.
This cooperation is directly aligned with the global ambition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, and illustrates Scalian’s commitment to contributing actively to the technological solutions needed to reach this goal.
A renewed strategic partnership with EDF
Another key moment was the confirmation of the Scalian–EDF partnership dedicated to inspection management, carried out jointly with Bureau Veritas, Parlym, and Sica Nucléaire.
The renewal of this collaboration demonstrates the trust placed in Scalian for high-criticality missions.
Work is now continuing around the 2025 feedback (REX 2025) and the development of the 2026 action plan, with a clear objective: strengthening our operational impact within the industry and supporting EDF sustainably in managing its industrial challenges.

MBSE under the spotlight: Scalian expertise showcased at GIFEN
This edition also highlighted Scalian’s expertise in systems engineering.
Nesrine Badache, Systems Engineering Tech Line Manager, delivered a presentation on the GIFEN stand dedicated to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Through concrete use cases drawn from nuclear projects, her talk illustrated how MBSE:
- improves requirement structuring,
- strengthens coherence between project stakeholders,
- reduces integration risks,
- and accelerates performance achievement in complex environments.
A highly appreciated experience shared with visitors, highlighting the growing importance of MBSE in major nuclear programmes.
WNE 2025 confirms Scalian’s position at the heart of the nuclear industry
With strengthened partnerships, structuring initiatives, and the promotion of key areas of expertise, this edition of WNE demonstrated Scalian’s ability to support nuclear players with their industrial, digital and organisational challenges.
Our presence reflects our commitment to supporting a rapidly expanding industry facing major strategic challenges: ramp-up of programmes, energy transition, digitalisation, reinforced safety, and skills development.
