From June 16 to 22, 2025, Scalian took part in the International Paris Air Show, a flagship event for the aerospace and defense sectors. It was an intense week, marked by 12 expert talks, hands-on demonstrations, inspiring discussions… and more than 1,000 coffees shared with visitors, partners and clients who stopped by to discover our latest work.
This new edition highlighted a sector undergoing major transformation: the rise of AI, increasing needs for autonomy, sovereignty challenges, accelerated digitalisation, and growing environmental requirements. These themes lie at the heart of Scalian’s expertise and were showcased throughout a rich and diverse program delivered by our teams.
Innovation: pushing the limits of what’s possible
Several talks demonstrated Scalian’s ability to combine research, engineering and advanced technologies to create new capabilities.
Key highlights included:
- Mixed Reality applied to technician training and pilot assistance, paving the way for more immersive, effective and secure environments.
- AI and simulation to optimise radars, enhance autonomous navigation and strengthen the reliability of embedded systems.
- Drone swarming, with a focus on multi-agent coordination and distributed architectures—key for tomorrow’s tactical operations.
These demonstrations illustrated the central role of simulation and AI in the evolution of mission-critical systems.

Industrialisation: managing large-scale transformations
The aerospace industry continues to face high production demand while undergoing deep transformation. Scalian supports this evolution with proven, operational solutions:
- AeroExcellence™, our comprehensive approach to support industrial ramp-up and secure manufacturing performance.
- Secure Transfers of Work, significantly reducing lead time and risk through standardized methodologies.
- Sustainable transformation, enabling organisations to optimise processes while reducing environmental impacts.
These initiatives show how engineering and data can accelerate and de-risk industrial transformation.
Sovereignty: technologies supporting strategic autonomy
Sovereignty was a key theme throughout the show. Our teams presented several initiatives designed to strengthen the capabilities of industrial and institutional stakeholders:
- Hybrid design and circularity, exploring how to develop more sustainable systems while optimising life cycles.
- Cybersecurity for embedded systems, enhanced with AI to detect anomalies earlier, more accurately and more automatically.
- Lidar and embedded AI to enable autonomous platforms to operate with greater precision and safety.
- Impact of all-electric aircraft on testing and qualification, an emerging subject affecting infrastructures, methods and validation tools.
These examples highlight the importance of combining innovation, safety and technological independence.

Digitalisation: more resilient, low-carbon and efficient systems
Digital transformation was another major focus, particularly regarding environmental performance and digital continuity.
Our teams presented:
- Digital resilience and decarbonization with ServiceNow, an integrated approach to track, analyse and manage environmental impacts.
- Green AI, enabling innovation while balancing energy efficiency and responsible digital practices in a context of rapidly growing AI usage.
These perspectives are key for an industry that must combine operational performance with climate commitments.
A week full of meetings… and opportunities ahead
Beyond the demos, the Paris Air Show was above all a unique opportunity to meet partners, clients, institutions and future talents—all united by a shared goal: to imagine and build the future of aerospace and defense.
The energy, curiosity and trust expressed throughout the week highlight both the relevance of the topics addressed and the value of Scalian’s expertise.
