A graduate of École polytechnique and IFP School, Clément Charruel has built his career at the crossroads of engineering, strategy and technology. He began at Renault, where he spent nearly seven years in engineering and software project management roles related to powertrains. In 2013, he joined Bain & Company as a strategy consultant.
In 2016, he joined Altran, first as Group Strategy Manager and then as Chief of Staff to the Chairman & CEO. After the merger with Capgemini, he continued his career at Capgemini Engineering in several leadership roles: Chief Marketing & Portfolio Officer, Head of Automotive for Asia-Pacific, and then Managing Director for Southeast Asia and South Korea.
This international experience gave him responsibility for strategy, business development, innovation and operations in both Europe and Asia.
He joined Scalian in 2026 as Chief AI Officer and member of the Executive Commitee. His main task is to define and roll out the Group’s artificial intelligence strategy at the heart of its clients’ critical systems engineering processes, particularly in aerospace, space, defence and energy.
