Scalian Italy has officially inaugurated its new Electronics & Microelectronics Laboratory in Rome, marking a new milestone in the development of its local engineering capabilities and its support for complex industrial projects.
The inauguration brought together around 30 guests from leading companies in the aerospace, defence and transportation industries. The event provided an opportunity to introduce the new facility, exchange with industry representatives and highlight Scalian’s growing expertise in electronics, embedded systems and FPGA technologies. The opening reflects Scalian Italy’s commitment to strengthening its engineering capabilities and creating new opportunities to support clients on complex, high-value projects.
Expanding Scalian’s Electronics and Embedded Systems expertise
The new laboratory is designed to further develop Scalian Italy’s capabilities in electronics, microelectronics, embedded systems and Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technologies.
These areas are closely connected to Scalian’s broader Systems and Software Engineering expertise, which brings together hardware, embedded software and systems engineering to address the requirements of complex industrial environments.
Through this new facility, Scalian Italy aims to strengthen its local technical capabilities and further support projects in sectors such as aerospace, defence and transportation.

Beyond the development of its technical capabilities, the inauguration provided an opportunity to bring together Scalian’s teams and representatives from the industries it serves. The opening of the Rome laboratory reflects a collective effort and an important step in Scalian Italy’s development.
