The Scalian group is actively involved in the aerospace-industry recovery plan, developing proactive solutions for manufacturers in the sector. The idea is to build on projects that are either in the R&D phase or already under way within the Group, in the fields of digital technology or the Supply Chain. An example is the Zoning Default app.<\/p>\n
Launched as a Proof of Concept in 2017, the project benefited (in 2019 and 2020) from the support and sponsorship of one of our clients in the aeronautical sector for a test run on a production line. A Scalian Mission Manager liaised with the users of the application during this period in order to manage the adjustments and changes along the way.<\/p>\n
Today, the application has been deployed on the entire production line. A total of 48 users and subcontractors have access to Zoning Default on their tablets and can therefore detect, monitor and correct defects on aircraft before delivery, using a mobile, 100% digitised process.<\/p>\n
