The move consolidates the Group’s expertise in critical IT, cybersecurity and digital sovereignty, serving public, industrial and defence clients.

An integration started in 2025, completed today

A French specialist in critical IT, Skills & Affinity joined the Scalian Group in 2025. The deal was part of a wider external growth sequence backed by Wendel, alongside the Dulin and Mannarino Systems & Software acquisitions.

That integration now reaches its final step. The teams keep their business lines, their clients and their locations — but they carry the Group’s name. A single brand for a single promise.

Expertise across the full IT chain

Built on more than twenty years of experience, the expertise Skills & Affinity brings covers the entire information system lifecycle:

Infrastructure (systems, networks and telecoms)

Cybersecurity (protection, compliance and resilience)

Cloud and FinOps (cost and performance control)

Development (software design and industrialisation)

Consulting and project assurance (scoping and steering)

These capabilities were built with some of the most demanding clients there are: French ministries, major industrial accounts and service providers. Critical environments where data sovereignty, security and continuity of service leave no margin for error.

Reinforcement rather than addition

Scalian has worked on critical systems and software for decades: certified embedded software, real-time systems, air traffic control, combat systems, simulation. We also support public administrations on their sensitive information systems, as with the overhaul of the ORSEC portal for the French civil security directorate.

What Skills & Affinity brings deepens an already established position. By bringing critical systems engineering and critical IT closer together, we cover a continuous value chain, from the embedded software to the infrastructure that runs it and the cybersecurity that protects it.

What changes, what does not

For Skills & Affinity’s clients and partners, continuity is complete: the same teams, the same points of contact. What changes is delivery capacity, sector coverage and a more international footprint.

For employees, the integration opens access to the Group’s frameworks: expert communities, training paths, internal mobility and projects with an international dimension.

One more step towards a single brand

This rebranding is part of a wider unification movement. The Group’s German teams took the same path when they became Scalian Germany AG. Each step brings us closer to a single identity — stronger and more recognisable.

With 6,000 employees across 12 countries and revenue of €550 million, the Scalian Group is pursuing its ambition: to become a benchmark player in critical engineering, digital solutions and operations excellence.

Part of the Scalian Group since 2025, Skills & Affinity now operates under the Scalian brand.
