On this World Environment Day, we are blowing out the candle and sharing our first assessment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7] type-h3\">Early measurable results<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">In 2025, the effects of our SBTi trajectory are already visible:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"[li_&amp;]:mb-0 [li_&amp;]:mt-1 [li_&amp;]:gap-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3\">\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>5.2%<\/strong> reduction in total emissions compared to 2024, against a backdrop of sustained business growth<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>2.18 tCO\u2082e<\/strong> per employee, a controlled carbon intensity<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>83%<\/strong> renewable electricity across our operations<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>59%<\/strong> drop in procurement-related emissions, driven by a responsible purchasing policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">These figures are not an end in themselves. They reflect, above all, our ability to drive real transformation while continuing to grow, which is precisely the challenge at hand.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7] type-h3\">Where the transition truly happens<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">At Scalian, nearly <strong>91%<\/strong> of our emissions fall under scope 3, with two dominant categories: <strong>business travel (55%) and procurement (19%)<\/strong>. The transition therefore goes well beyond our infrastructure or direct energy consumption. It depends on business practices, everyday choices and collective decisions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">Our priority is clear: reduce the most carbon-intensive forms of mobility and bring our entire ecosystem along in the transition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7] type-h3\">A commitment recognised by three independent frameworks<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">Our engagement is independently validated by three international reference frameworks:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"[li_&amp;]:mb-0 [li_&amp;]:mt-1 [li_&amp;]:gap-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ul]:pb-1 [&amp;:not(:last-child)_ol]:pb-1 list-disc flex flex-col gap-1 pl-8 mb-3\">\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>SBTi &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Near-term targets<\/strong> : <strong>54.6%<\/strong> reduction on scopes 1 and 2 by 2033,<strong> 61.1%<\/strong> reduction on scope 3 in intensity (<i data-olk-copy-source=\"MailCompose\">tCO\u2082e<\/i>\/FTE), and <strong>Net-Zero<\/strong> (carbon neutrality by 2050) officially validated, aligned with a <strong>1.5\u00b0C<\/strong> pathway<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>CDP Climate Change<\/strong>\u00a0Score B: Recognition of our rigorous management of climate-related risks<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>CDP SEA<\/strong> (Supplier Engagement Assessment) Leader, Score A: Recognition of our commitment to bringing our supply chain into the transition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7] type-h3\">Commitment turning into action<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">In one year, our SBTi trajectory has translated into results, structural decisions and collective momentum. The transition is well underway and we are pressing forward with ambition. We invite our clients, partners and suppliers to align in turn with climate science.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7] type-h3\">About the SBTi<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The Science Based Targets initiative is a partnership between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdp.net\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">CDP<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unglobalcompact.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">United Nations Global Compact<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wri.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">World Resources Institute<\/a>\u00a0(<strong>WRI<\/strong>), and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwildlife.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\u00a0World Wide Fund for Nature<\/a>\u00a0(<strong>WWF<\/strong>).
