{"id":16117,"date":"2025-12-18T15:41:56","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T14:41:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scalian.com\/?p=16117"},"modified":"2025-12-18T17:37:20","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T16:37:20","slug":"seeph-2025-a-week-to-advance-inclusion-at-scalian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scalian.com\/en\/newsroom\/articles-en\/seeph-2025-a-week-to-advance-inclusion-at-scalian\/","title":{"rendered":"SEEPH 2025: A Week to Advance Inclusion at Scalian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"type-intro\">Each year, the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (SEEPH) provides an opportunity to highlight a major workplace challenge: building truly inclusive work environments\u2014beyond intentions and statements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"type-intro\">In 2025, Scalian chose to embed this week within a collective and operational approach, combining awareness-raising, experience sharing, and hands-on initiatives with a clear objective: to shift perspectives, question practices, and foster sustainable inclusion across our teams.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"type-h3\">Raising awareness to better understand the realities of disability<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the week, several key moments were offered to employees to address disability in all its dimensions\u2014often misunderstood or reduced to stereotypes.<\/p>\n<p>Five conferences were organized around core themes such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>persistent prejudices related to disability in the workplace,<\/li>\n<li>mental health at work,<\/li>\n<li>innovation as a driver of inclusion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These sessions opened dialogue, provided practical insights, and created spaces for reflection and constructive questioning.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, educational workshops were led by our committed partners (Bbird, Ariane Conseil, Goods to Know, T\u2019hompouss Consultants), alongside our disability coordinators. Designed as interactive sessions, these workshops encouraged a pragmatic and accessible approach to disability-related topics, closely connected to everyday professional realities.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16128\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scalian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/2-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1441\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"type-h3\">DuoDays: one day of immersion to move from theory to practice<\/p>\n<p>Among the initiatives carried out during SEEPH, our participation in DuoDays\u2014alongside our partner AKTISEA (an adapted enterprise)\u2014stood out as a flagship action.<\/p>\n<p>The concept is simple: for one day, pairs are formed between Scalian employees and people with disabilities, offering a real immersion into our roles, teams, and working environment.<\/p>\n<p>These 17 DuoDays meetings enabled far more than a simple job discovery. They fostered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the sharing of experiences and career paths,<\/li>\n<li>stronger mutual understanding,<\/li>\n<li>and above all, the dismantling of still-prevalent stereotypes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When people work together, barriers recede. Preconceived ideas give way to real-life experience, genuine encounters, and human connection.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16135\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scalian.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/3-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1441\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"type-h3\">Building sustainable inclusion, not symbolic actions<\/p>\n<p>Implementing such initiatives requires time, commitment, and sometimes a willingness to challenge established habits.
