This milestone marks a significant step forward in our commitment to <strong data-start=\"557\" data-end=\"599\">urgent, science-aligned climate action<\/strong>. According to the latest climate science\u2014described by the UN as \u201c<em><strong data-start=\"665\" data-end=\"690\">code red for humanity<\/strong><\/em>\u201d\u2014it is still possible to limit global temperature rise to 1.5\u00b0C, but only with <strong data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"809\">rapid and deep emissions reductions<\/strong>. At Scalian, we recognize our responsibility, and we need to act accordingly.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"type-h2\" data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"918\">Our approved Science-Based Targets<\/h3>\n<p class=\"type-h3\" data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"967\"><strong data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"941\">&#8211; Near-Term Targets:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"967\">Scalian SAS commits to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1155\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1058\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1058\">Reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 54.6% by 2033, from a 2023 base year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1155\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1155\">Reduce scope 3 GHG emissions by 61.1% per full-time equivalent (FTE) over the same period.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"type-h3\" data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1213\"><strong data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1187\">&#8211; Net-Zero Targets:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1213\">Scalian SAS commits to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1453\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1291\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1291\">Reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across our value chain by 2050.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1380\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1380\">Reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 90% by 2050, from a 2023 base year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1453\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1383\" data-end=\"1453\">Reduce scope 3 GHG emissions by 97% per FTE in the same timeframe.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1455\" data-end=\"1597\">These targets are officially recognized by the SBTi as conforming to both the <strong data-start=\"1537\" data-end=\"1566\">Near-Term Target Criteria<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1596\">Net-Zero Standard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"type-h2\" data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1617\">About the SBTi<\/h3>\n<h3 data-start=\"1961\" data-end=\"1981\">The <strong data-start=\"1623\" data-end=\"1659\">Science Based Targets initiative<\/strong> is a collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdp.net\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">CDP<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/unglobalcompact.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">United Nations Global Compact<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wri.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">World Resources Institute<\/a> (<strong>WRI<\/strong>), and the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwildlife.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> World Wide Fund for Nature<\/a> (<strong>WWF<\/strong>).
